Question About Felicity's Simple Shift

Felicity's simple shift is underneath her clothes when you first purcahse here if I'm correct. I did not get one beacuse she was from ebay from her previous owner Lori here on the board (mom_to_an_americangirl). She gave me her for my birthday this past year. I called up CS the otehr day and tryed getting it as a repalcement part and they said it had been retired and the new dolls were not coming with them.

My question now is can you use her nightshift underneath that and is it almost the same thing? Or does anyone have a extra simle shift. I would apperaite it if anyone had a extra thye would be willing to give up.

they're not coming with them anymore?
I have one but it's on an extra doll. If someone ever wants to buy my felicity without her meet outfit then I can send you the shift. Other then that sorry.
But that's sounds weird that they are coming without it.

Her nightgown has long sleeves; her shift has almost no sleeves at all. I doubt you'd be able to get the nightgown on under her dress.

I'd bet someone on the board handy with a sewing machine could stitch you up one.

I knew I should have ordered one when I had the replacement part code in my possession. The one I have is a bit stretched out around the neckline.

How ANNOYING is that? So Felicity is now wearing underwear, which she wouldn't have worn? What is with THAT?

That's odd because on the website the Felicity still says that she comes with a shift...maybe the CS rep was mistaken? or it might just not be a replacement part anymore?

I have that same problem.. I was thinking that if there is some oddity that the new issue of Lissie does not have one, Elizabeth does.. maybe hers would be available as a replacement part. I thought about calling to see.. you should too! I, like you, got my Lissie on eBay and she had her rose garden dress, bonnet, shoes, socks, hankie and garters, but that is it.. I need that shift to and it is no where to be found on eBay.. I am thinking of possibly making one.. I even looked for replacement underthings that are knock off - non AG - and there was nothing to be found. Someone posted on here at one time that they had made coral necklaces and were selling them for $5 each.. does anyone remember who that was? I need one!

I received my Felicity for Christmas last year and she came with the shift. I just looked at Elizabeth's and hers does not have the elastic at the neckline. It is gathered and has a bias tape facing. They may have found that the elastic does not hold up as well as this new method.
